In the hill country near Ripley in northeast Mississippi, Logan Yancey, 30, is a first-generation livestock producer balancing his resources between cattle farming and fencing.

Cole Massey of Tunica, MS received the Academy of Honor Scholarship in 2024. It was awarded by the Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT) and given in honor of Abbott Myers, Former Chairman of the Mississippi Land Bank Board of Directors and 2024 FCBT Academy of Honor Inductee.
