2024 Academy of Honor Scholarship Recipient

We extend our congratulations to Cole Massey of Tunica, MS, recipient of the Academy of Honor Scholarship awarded by the Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT)! This year’s scholarship was given in honor of Abbott Myers, Former Chairman of the Mississippi Land Bank Board of Directors and 2024 FCBT Academy of Honor Inductee. Mr. Myers requested that this scholarship be awarded to a student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Mississippi State University majoring in Agricultural Engineering Technology and Business.

Chad Crow, CEO of Mississippi Land Bank, expressed “It’s exciting to see this scholarship go to a student with strong ties to North Mississippi and a family legacy of farming!

We can’t wait to see Cole’s impact on agriculture as he advances into his career.”

CEO and CCO Discuss Farm Bill with Legislators

This week, our Chief Executive Officer Chad E. Crow and Chief Credit Officer Bobby Spinks had the opportunity to visit with some of our legislators regarding the upcoming Farm Bill. Included in the group was U.S. Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi (pictured far left), U.S. Senator Steve Daines of Montana (pictured far right).
