Becky Beard Named New Director

In May 2023, the Mississippi Land Bank Board of Directors named Rebecca "Becky" Beard as board-elected director. Ms. Beard was born and raised in Sardis, Mississippi, and graduated from the University of Mississippi. She has been a partner with William, Pitts, & Beard PLLC, one of the leading CPA firms in and throughout the Hernando, Memphis and North Mississippi area, since 2001.

Davis and Blaine Re-Elected to Board of Directors

Mississippi Land Bank is cooperatively-owned, which means our members share in the profits generated from our lending activity in the form of patronage dividends and have a voice in the business decisions for the association. At our annual stockholder meeting, members have the opportunity to vote for their board of directors. This year, two of our board members were re-elected to their positions: Larry Davis in the Cleveland territory and Dr. Mac Alan Blaine in the Starkville territory.
