Land Bank of North Mississippi Pays Over $1.6 Million Cash Distribution to Borrowers

Senatobia, MS – The Board of Directors and management of the Land Bank of North Mississippi are pleased to announce the declaration and payment of a cash distribution of $1,610,252.00 to its borrowers in January 2008. Cash distribution payments to borrowers are a direct result of the continued excellent loan performance by the bank’s borrowers over the 2007 fiscal year. The distribution represents a return of a portion of interest paid and reduces the effective interest rate on a borrower’s loan for the year. Since 1996, the Land Bank of North Mississippi has returned $13,825,995.00 to its borrowers/stockholders in cash distributions.
